This page provides summary information about the references in Polbase. To find a specific reference, enter a title word, author name, year etc. using the search box.

  • The graph of references by polymerase family displays the number of references in each family. Select a family to see more detail.
    • Since references may refer to multiple polymerases, some references are counted in more than one family.
  • The graph of references over time indicates how many references were published and indexed by Polbase over time.
  • The graph of references by journal presents the number of references in the 10 most represented journals and an "Other" journal which includes all the remaining journals. Select a journal to see more details.

The show help symbol in the upper-right corner of the page links to this help text. The question mark icon is used everywhere to indicate that help is available.

Using Polbase tables:

Sorting:

Tables may be sorted by clicking on any of the column titles. A second click reverses the sort order. <Ctrl> + click on the column titles to sort by more than one column (e.g. family then name).

Filtering:

It is also possible to filter the table by typing into the search box above the table. This will instantly hide lines from the table that do not contain your search text.
