Welcome to Polbase!

What is Polbase?

Polbase is a repository of biochemical, genetic, and structural information about DNA Polymerases.
See About for more information.

What can I do here?

Find polymerases with structures

Examine the details of a specific polymerase e.g. T4

Find a polymerase with specified properties

How can I participate?

Polbase needs participation from DNA Polymerase experts to realize its full potential.

Most recent addition:

Darmawan H2015 DNA polymerase 3'→5' exonuclease activity: Different roles of the beta hairpin structure in family-B DNA polymerases.

Using Polbase tables:

Tables may be sorted by clicking on any of the column titles. A second click reverses the sort order. <Ctrl> + click on the column titles to sort by more than one column (e.g. family then name).

It is also possible to filter the table by typing into the search box above the table. This will instantly hide lines from the table that do not contain your search text.
